Lost and Found

The Campus Library Lost and Found is located at the Information Desk on the first floor of the library.

All items received are recorded in  a Lost and Found Inventory List and held in the Campus Library Lost and Found, with the following exceptions:  

  • Items of high value, items with serial numbers, or property with owner identification clearly marked are immediately transferred to Campus Safety upon receipt.
  • Data storage devices and DawgPrint cards are immediately transferred to the Computing Help Desk located on the first floor of the library.

Upon closing,  additional lost and found items may be transferred to  Campus Safety based on their Lost and Found policy. Otherwise, items are held in the Campus Library Lost and Found for at least two weeks. 

Retrieving Lost Items

To retrieve lost items, visit the Information Desk located on the first floor of the library.

For items of high value that have not been transferred to Campus Safety, you may be asked for a form of identification and/or ownership of the item.

Forms of ownership identification may include, but are not limited to:

  • Description of lost item
  • Further identifying marks, stickers, labels, text, or images
  • Ability to unlock a tablet, laptop, or phone

Turning In Found Items

Items found in the Campus Library may be dropped off at the Information Desk on the first floor of the library. 

  • The Campus Library is unable to accept found money. You may consider donating found money to the Husky Pantry and/or Kodiak Cave
