Please do not come to campus to return UW Libraries materials when campus is closed due to inclement weather or other emergency conditions. On the day campus re-opens, items will be checked in as if they were returned on the last day the library was open. If you are unable to return your material on the first day we re-open, fines will be assessed for the days we were closed. In that case, you can appeal the fines using the Appeal of Library Charges web form.
Check the UW Bothell and Cascadia College websites for updated closure information.
Note that we do have a street-level book return below the Campus Library on Campus Way NE that you can use to return books and media (not laptops or other equipment) after campus re-opens without having to park on campus. There is a driveway with a sign for the Library loading dock, and the book return is a few feet away.

Land Acknowledgment: The University of Washington Bothell & Cascadia College Campus Library occupies Land that has been inhabited by Indigenous Peoples since time immemorial. Specifically, this campus is located on Sammamish Land from which settler colonists forcibly removed Coast Salish Peoples to reservations in the mid-19th century. Today, descendants of the Sammamish are members of several Coast Salish communities.
