In alignment with the statewide Safe Start Plan, the UW Bothell and Cascadia College campus remains in Phase 2 with most classes online and most staff working remotely.
The library building is closed and will remain closed during Phase 2 based on the protocols outlined within University of Washington COVID-19 Safe Start Phases.

At this time, and until further notice, we will not have access to any of the physical collection, including journals, books, and media, and will not be able to fulfill requests for these materials. Therefore the following services are unavailable: Request a UW item for pick up, Summit, UW Article Scanning Services, Scan for Canvas Service & Physical Course Reserves, Home Delivery and Departmental Delivery.
Interlibrary Loan services will be limited to electronic articles and other electronic materials only.

The Campus Library circulates laptops to UWB students, which may be available for checkout during the building closure. For more details, or if you need to return the laptop prior to its due date, visit our laptops page.
UWB IT is also now offering a laptops and internet hotspots as a part of their equipment checkout service, and UWB students can get more information on their page at https://www.uwb.edu/it/service-catalog/equipment-device-checkout.
Cascadia also offers laptops as a part of their equipment checkout service and Cascadia students can get more information on the availability of this service at http://www.cascadia.edu/services/computing/helpdesk.aspx.
With user safety and equitable access in mind, no physical materials (books and media) will be placed on course reserves for Fall 2020.
Because library staff are working remotely and the library building remains closed, scanning and digitization services are not available until further notice.

Overdue fines accrued between March 6, 2020 and the day the Libraries re-open will be canceled.
