Dani Rowland, Reference and Instruction Librarian

What I do

[Headshot of Dani]

I consult with students on research tactics, provide classroom instruction, and assist faculty with assignment design. I also select materials for the campus library collection in U.S. history, communication and media studies, and religion, philosophy and ethics, and serve as the faculty liaison for those topics.

For Cascadia, I regularly work with College 101-College Success and English 102-Writing from Research classes (in addition to history, communication, and philosophy classes). For UWB, I regularly work with BCUSP-Discovery Core and BIS 300-Interdisciplinary Inquiry (in addition to American studies classes).

I'm also interested in using narrative forms for teaching and learning.
