Print/Copy costs for b&w letter-size pages are $0.12 per page ($0.23 per sheetfor double-sided printing) or $0.75 per sheet for single-sided letter-sized color printing.
Note: Double-sided color printing is not available in the library and larger paper sizes will cost more. None of the printer/copiers accept cash. University of Washington students can use their Husky Card (which is both a school ID and Library card) to pay for printing and photocopying on campus, as well as purchases at the on-campus bookstore. Husky Card holders must first add value to their card either online using a credit card, or with cash (US paper currency only) at the vending machine in the Library. They can also check their balance and track their purchases online once they have set up their account.
For Cascadia students or patrons without a Husky Card, Dawg-Prints Cards are available for purchase from the vending machine in the
Campus Library Information Commons. Users may only add cash value and check balances for these cards at the vending machine in the Library. Each card purchased will cost $0.20, so it is recommended that users write their name on the card, retain the card for future use and add value as needed. Cascadia students may also have access to printing in the Open Learning Center as determined by fees they may have paid.
Patrons with the older Copy Cards can no longer have any remaining balance transferred to their Husky Account, or to a Dawg-Prints Card. For more information, contact uwcshelp@uw.edu
For more information on the Dawg-Prints program including how to print from your own laptop while on campus, visit the Dawg Prints website at http://dawgprints.washington.edu.
Print jobs may remain in the print queue for 24 hours or more. If you are concerned about others printing your documents from the release station, wait until you are ready to print them before sending them from a computer.
Refunds are not available on the Bothell Campus. If a printer malfunctions during a printout, the Library's Student Technology Consultant can resend any remaining portion of the job to the printer. Creative Communications will accept refund requests directly, but not for printing mistakes, user errors, or damaged paper stock. To request a refund credit, go to the Dawg-Prints refund page, or email uwcshelp@uw.edu and provide the following information:
