A Media item on Reserve for your course as well as others will be checked out to you for 3 days unless there is a booking conflict.
Media Reserves not on Reserve for your course will be checked out for 4 hours.
Media Reserves cannot be renewed online, over the phone, or via email.
If a Media Reserve is needed longer, you must bring it physically to the
Circulation desk for check in/out.
Faculty are responsible for fines accrued on Reserve items.
The loan period for students is 4 hours, Library Use Only.
Booking Media Items
Booking an item ensures that the item will be available on the
day you intend to use it, and is highly recommended when you are using material for class viewing.
Booking is especially recommended when an item is on Reserve for multiple courses, or if the item is not on Reserve at all. Reserves staff will notify you if an item you have on Reserve is put on Reserve for other courses.
All non-Reserve Media is located on the First Floor of the Library; you may retrieve your items from the open collection. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance if you are having trouble finding something!
Library Use Only:
Faculty may have an extended loan of 4 weeks for UWB/CCC Library
Use Only (LUO) materials. If you need the item longer than
4 weeks, you must bring the item to the Library for an additional checkout.
Media items that have a 7-day loan period have unlimited renewals until
another patron places a hold on the item. These items can be renewed by accessing your Library Account online.
