The University of Washington, Bothell and Cascadia Community College
Campus Library & Media Center supports and enhances teaching, learning,
and research at UWB and CCC through the provision of media services,
information, and resources. As a unit of the University of Washington
Libraries we acquire and manage material and virtual resources, and
promote the creation and use of knowledge in an atmosphere where
information and ideas are readily accessible and freely exchanged.
To accomplish our mission, UW Bothell and Cascadia Community College
Library & Media Center will:
Collaborate with faculty to develop critical thinking and
information literacy, in order to graduate students with life-long
learning skills.
Provide reference and instructional services that enable students,
faculty and staff to effectively access and use information and
technology.
Collaborate with faculty in integrating educational technology
into the curriculum to enhance teaching and learning.
Provide timely, accurate, and individualized services and
resources to help faculty and students attain their academic goals.
Develop strategic partnerships in order to provide an evolving
range of services to faculty, staff, and students.
Values:
Quality, personalized services for our users with the flexibility
to accommodate their individual needs.
