  • SMEAL Search: Academic Business Literature Digital Library
    http://smealsearch2.psu.edu/index.html/
This is a specialized Web search engine that searches and indexes academic business documents that are in either PDF or PostScript (PS) formats.  A
citation analysis is performed on academic articles accessed and  the most cited articles are listed first. Although articles available through the SMEALSearch engine can be downloaded (for fair use) without any charges, some articles may have only the abstracts listed; therefore, check the UW Libraries Catalog to determine holdings.  See a Reference Librarian for assistance.
  • Finance Wise
    http://www.financewise.com
Web search engine focused on finance. It only indexes sites that possess content of interest to the finance world. Each indexed site is evaluated by FinanceWise staff beforehand.
  • Search Adobe PDF Online
    http://searchpdf.adobe.com
Searches for PDF files on the web.  Search results include a summary that can be viewed before looking at the full document.  Beware that results do not always include where the document is from.
  • Google Scholar
    http://scholar.google.com
Google Scholar enables you to search specifically for scholarly literature, including peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, preprints, abstracts and technical reports from all broad areas of research. Not all material is free. You can search by Title in the UW Libraries Catalog to see if we carry the book or journal (and you can expand your search for a book in the Summit Union Catalog).
  • Yahoo
    http://www.yahoo.com
Web search engine and subject directory. Offers links to many business-related web sites.
