Borrowing services
- Graduate students may check out most books within the UW collection for one academic quarter. Loan periods for reserves, other types of materials (DVDs, journals, etc.) and for books from other libraries may vary. Check your online Library Account to see when materials are due.

Finding capstones and practicum materials
- Capstones from the Master of Arts in Policy Studies (MAPS) program can be found in two ways:
- In the UW Libraries catalog search by "Genre/Form" for the word "capstone."
- Go to the third floor of the Campus Library and browse in the H97.4 call number area.
- Practicum projects for the Master of Education program are kept in the library but are not listed in the UW Libraries catalog. The projects (and a binder listing all of the author's names and project titles) are located on the third floor of the library, in the first row of book stacks on the south side of the building. Please ask at the front desk if you need help locating a practicum project!
