17th and 18th century Burney collection: funded by Allen grant. This collection includes 1,270 titles of newspapers, pamphlets, and books gathered by the Reverend Charles Burney and representing the largest and most comprehensive collection of early English news media.

20th century Parliamentary papers: funded by Allen grant. The House of Commons Parliamentary Papers, 1901-2004, includes 104,000 papers comprising 5.2 million pages of parliamentary publications. This collection complements the existing 19th century collection.

American Chemical Society archives: This former subscription is now owned by the Libraries with perpetual access, including ACS journals from 1879-1995. Access by journal title.
Century Journals Project: funded by Allen grant. The Century Journals Project is the single largest retrospective digital collection of 20th century Chinese academic journals. It is the backfiles of China Academic Journals, to which the Libraries has subscribed since 2003. Both databases are searchable simultaneously.

Gale's Literature Criticism online: funded by Allen grant. This database includes the backfile/archive of a number of the Gale criticism series, including: Contemporary literary criticism, 20th century literary criticism, 19th century literature criticism, Shakespearean criticism, Classical and medieval literature criticism, etc.

New Palgrave dictionary of economics: The New Palgrave Dictionary of Economics, 2nd edition, edited by
Steven N. Durlauf and Lawrence E. Blume, contains over 1,850 articles by more than 1,500 of the world's leading economists.

Prisma: Coming in July. PRISMA (Publicaciones y Revistas Sociales y Humanísticas) is a comprehensive reference resource providing full-text scholarly journals in the social sciences and humanities for the interdisciplinary academic study of Hispanic and Latin America, and the Caribbean Basin. Offering key titles indexed in the Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI), a highly respected database produced by the Latin American Center of the University of California, Los Angeles, PRISMA features Spanish, Portuguese and English language content.

America history and life and Historical abstracts: These two databases have been discontinued by ABC-CLIO and are now exclusively distributed by Ebsco.
America history and life UW RestrictedBlackwell merging with Wiley: due to the merger of Blackwell and Wiley, the Blackwell Synergy platform is being discontinued. Migration of Blackwell content to the Wiley platform will take place the weekend of June 28-29 and content from both publishers will be unavailable. After migration, the former Blackwell url's will continue to access former Blackwell titles.
