Cascadia : Finding Books and Media
Cascadia students have access to over 80,000 books in the Campus Library and an additional 7+ million books at UW Libraries in Seattle and Tacoma.
Finding Books at UW Bothell / Cascadia Campus Library
- Searching for books owned by Bothell/CCC Campus Library:
- Check out our 3.5 minute online tutorial!
- Try a BASIC search for Bothell/CCC books
- Try an ADVANCED search for Bothell/CCC books
- Hint: You can search for media (CDs, DVDs, VHS, etc) by using the ADVANCED search and limiting to Videos, Slides, Media or to Musical Sound Recordings
- Make sure the book is listed as AVAILABLE before you come to the library to get it.
- If the book you want is owned by Bothell/CCC Campus Library, is checked out, and is not on Reserve, call 425-352-5340 or email botcirc@uwb.edu to place a hold on it.
- For textbooks and other required reading:
- If you aren't finding what you need, ask a librarian for help in person or by phone, email, or 24-hour chat. You might find what you need with a different search strategy!
Checking Out Materials at other UW Libraries
When you search in the entire UW collection, you will find materials with locations other than "Bothell/CCC Campus Library". Those books and other materials are owned throughout the UW system at libraries on the Seattle and Tacoma campuses. If the status in the catalog is "AVAILABLE" you can check the item out at the library where it is located.
- Your Cascadia Student ID is your library card!
- If you have not yet come to the UWB/CCC Campus Library to Activate Your Library Account, do so before you travel to another UW Library
